Young Leonardo – Jean-Pierre Isbouts

With the historic restoration complete, the disturbing fact is that only 20 percent of Leonardo’s brushwork remains—in effect, we do not know what The Last Supper looked like. However, Prof. Isbouts has reconstructed a more complete picture from the works of contemporary artists who copied it, revealing many exciting details that have not been available in one place.  Young Leonardo also uncovers the close relationship between the Last Supper and the fresco of the Crucifixion on the opposite wall, a work that up to now has escaped scholarly attention. World rights are exclusive to US/Canada.
